How to Generate .EDU Backlinks

Today I am going to answer the question “How to Generate .EDU Backlinks?”

As you may already know, getting high quality backlinks is very important if you wish to get a high listing in Google.  There is no better way to do this than to get good quality .EDU or .GOV backlinks from .EDU or .GOV Blog sites.

What is a .EDU website, and how do you generate .EDU backlinks?

When an educational institution registers a domain name, they would normally get a .edu extension.  When you have a .edu domain link to your website, it is deemed to carry more weight than a .com or .net domain site.  This is probably because Google assumes these types of websites wouldn’t be involved in reciprocal linking, Black Hat SEO or profiting from search engine manipulation.  These sites tend to be taken quite serious and have great authority.

So hence these sites have academic disposition, they tend to link only to other sites that provide added information.  This is why Google applies greater weight to backlinks originating from these domains.  All you have to do now is generate .edu backlinks.

Forum Marketing – Forum Marketing, The How to….

In my last post I talked about how I had a MASSIVE BOOST in traffic using Forum Marketing.  If you haven’t read about my results CLICK HERE to be taken to my previous post.  I suggest you read this first so you can see why I believe Forum Marketing is a fantastic way to boost your website hits, leads and search engine ranking.

There are so many ways to do Forum Marketing, but I will outline what I do and it has worked well.

Firstly, you need to find forums in your niche market.  I will talk about Network Marketing as that is what I know best.

The easiest way to find the top forums is to simply do a Google search.  So for example you may search for “Internet Marketing Forum” or “home based business forum”.  The top 3 or 4 results are probably the forums you want to concentrate on.  These forums have ranked high in Google, and are a great place to start.

Forum Marketing – My Amazing Forum Marketing Results

Hi All,

I have talked about Forum Marketing in a few other posts, but I have had some great results lately that I just have to share with you.  A few days ago I was talking with a fellow MLSP member on Facebook.  His Name is Pj Zafra and he was telling me he saw a massive boost in traffic using Forum Marketing.

Well, this sparked my interest.  I have always used Forums, but just posted here and there, and yes it did bring me in some extra traffic, and helped with my rankings.  But what Pj told me about his experience with Forum Marketing astounded me!

He saw a huge spike in the amount of traffic to his site, just after a night of posting in ‘One Forum Only!’.  Pj posted about 30 comments in this one night, and the traffic to his website exploded!

I had always posted a few comments per night, but hadn’t tried this approach.
